Our Dear (or at least My Dear!) Ambassador Court Maria von Wembley,
the Red-Headed Tri-Color Corgi, came to me in Richmond, Virginia
via petfinders.org and an airplane. The date I found him was
February 11, 2008, at which time I was told he was approximately
1 year old, that he had been found shot in the hip and recuperated
nearly 3 months. February 21st is the day he flew from his
home state of Oklahoma to me, 10 days later.

Please come to our home to have a Corgi Meetup!
Your Presence is Presents Enough!
We can have some light snacks for us humans
inside, or if it's warm enough, outside as well
(though I don't have outside furniture yet).
I plan on getting some doggie cupcakes or something
from a doggie bakery in town that makes wholesome
treats for such occasions.
I have a good sized fenced back yard where the doggies
can stay...Please let me know if there is anything in particular
you will need or want.
I have a Tasha Tudor video of corgi cottage if we want to 'chill',
though I gather we'd rather socialize!

We live near St Mary's hospital in Richmond,
between Monument Avenue and Patterson Avenue,
just 1 block East of Libbie...5703 Bromley Lane, 23226.
Is there anything else about this venue that I should post
that I'm not thinking of? Feel free to call or email me for
ANY reason, and please RSVP even if it's a maybe...
would love to see all the new people here!

    •  Dear Corgi Family! Court and I had a wonderful time! Thank you to those who came, and to everyone we look forward to our future corgi events! I will be posting another letter soon...the real world of dogs came to earth and visited us at the party!, humbly we admit there were some doggie skirmishes, and Nancy ended up with a deep gash and going to the hospital...she's okay but all bandaged up, ...for a chef, Nancy, keep us posted! otherwise, there are many things about dogs that as a first time adult dog owner/corgi owner I hadn't anticipated: like not having toys out as they create competition and having all of us share a little update about our pups when we rsvp. Those of you who understand dog group psychology, help to educate us, mail info to me, post it to the group or whatever. We want this to be a safe group as well as recognize all the dogs have their own personalities and backgrounds, and some of them have lives we hardly know much about...Splendid day still!
    •  Thank you Leila for opening up your lovely new home to all of us! It was a lovely afternoon, all in all, and I am appreciative of all your efforts on our behalf! Nancy Woof, woof, woof from Bear, Tasha and Linus, too!
