Come to the monthly meeting of the Portland corgi Meetup Group! I hope to provide an opportunity for other corgi owners to get together and share information, as well as give our dogs a chance to play with others who are just their size!

We will continue meeting at Normadale Park in NE Portland, as this site seems to be convenient for most group members. I know these Portland winters can be wild and woolly, what with the rain and snow, but the corgis seem to love it anyway.

Announcing the addition of a new meetup group! Corgis and their owners can now meet at the Westside meetup!
Details:
When: 2nd Saturday of every month at 1 PM.
Where: Hazelia Dog Park, 17800 Stafford Road, Lake Oswego, OR 97034

One meeting has already occurred and everyone had a great time.

    • “ Riley and I actually attended the west side meetup in Lake Oswego last Saturday. I love the dog park on Stafford Road there. Riley, in his usual zeal, wound up with a bath after becoming pretty encased in mud. Intended to attend the meetup today but didn't make it. Hope to be there next month. ”

    • “ The meetup was fun except for the weather - cold and windy. ”
    • “ We were there about an hour. . . We roamed and sniffed til our little noses could sniff no more. . . . then. . . . the last half hour, our owner Aaron and our other family dog Harley (Big Rotti/Lab mix) started running and chasing the ball, of course we had to join in and then about 5 other corgi's joined in too. We flew over the big trees laying in the park and around them. It's pretty funny to see 7 corgis all chasing the big dog. . . . everyone was laughing and cheering us on. We were a-runnin and a-runnin! Flying over the logs and leaping like ROCK STARS! Can't wait til the next meet. ”

      “ Piper and Jordi had a great time! We'll be back for sure. We should work on a Vancouver play day as I know there are quite a few of us! We have two great 10acre dog parks up here. It got pretty packed with all those crazy little Bostons there, but it was pretty entertaining. ”
