Come to the monthly meeting of the Portland corgi Meetup Group! I hope to provide an opportunity for other corgi owners to get together and share information, as well as give our dogs a chance to play with others who are just their size!

We will continue meeting at Normadale Park in NE Portland, as this site seems to be convenient for most group members.

We would love to come and were going to, but since they are predicting 2 inches of rain this weekend, we just don't want to drive all the way from Beaverton to wind up with a wet/dirty furkid. Maybe next time.

Who attended?

  • 15 attendees
    •  We didn't get there until 10:45, right when the sky started falling. As we were going into the park about 20 corgis and their owners were running out. We stayed and played with the other dogs that toughed it out. The dogs couldn't have cared less and we stayed dryish. Thank heaven for the big trees.
    •  I admired that everyone stuck it out until it really started to pour!

Met a few nice people, saw some great pups and had a blast. We don't have a Corgi yet, but love the guys!
    •  It was a huge bummer we got rained & soaked out!!!!
    •  I got there 15 minutes late, and all the Corgis were having a wonderful romp in the park together. Suddenly, thunder boomed and within minutes, a monsoon arrived and turned the park into a giant mud puddle. Pretty quickly, Corgis and people dispersed, and the meetup was over!
