Hi,
I just received this email from a friend. Thought I'd share if someone is looking to rescue a male corgi. Hey, Jo ann How are you guys? Anyhow the last thing you guys are thinking about is another dog, but I couldn't believe it there is an adorable male 3 yr old welsh pembroke corgi at the animal shelter in Bonita (south county shelter). He is a tri colored has a cute blaze like chloe. I have been looking on the shelter sights for my mom and came across him, I thought maybe you might know someone who wants him maybe that has admired your dog? ANyhow if you want to see a pic of him you have to go the county of san diego website and click on adoptable animals or animal services and click on south shelter I think the website is www.sddac.com? Take care |

Carol,
I wanted to know if you knew anything else about this dog. I went to the site but nothing. As all knows I am still looking for my Bear and will always keep looking. If you know anything else I sure would appreciate all the help I can get. Bear is micro chipped so I don't know......Still searching...almost now 3 years. Grace |

This Corgi, Rudy, is now in foster care with PWCCSC and is a real sweetie!
He is going to be a wonderful companion for some lucky family. Gets along with everyone and is good with cats and other dogs. Is now clean and safe and regrowing some hair after suffering from flea bite dermatitis. Very small, Black-headed tri. Estimated age is 3 to 4. He is about 24 lbs. and maybe 10 1/2 inches tall. A nice lapful. Is doing well on housetraining (remedial) and sleeps in a crate at night. He was a stray and never claimed. Was adopted out and returned when his new owner got tired of treating his allergy needs. Was adopted out again and returned for same reason. This time the shelter contacted me so our rescue could give Rudy a better chance of a forever home. Rudy has charmed the staff at the shelter, including the medical staff. He would just sit and let them do anything and then wag his wiggle butt all over the place. Loves attention. Does not know his name, but perhaps he does not like it and wants a new one. My Vet and his staff are smitten with him, too. Hopefully Rudy's allergies will be under control soon. For now he is on meds to control the discomfort and itching. He is now bathed and comfortable and in a loving foster home. The website for our Club's rescue is: www.pwccsc.org/rescue.html Gini Ream PWCCSC Rescue Volunteer |

Bless you Gini and the foster home! I am sure, once he gets the proper care and diet he will be a healthy happy little Corgi!

Wanted to update everyone on this boy. His new name is Spencer and he now has a new home and a sister Pem named Kate. His new family thinks he is the perfect match for them. I'm sure Spencer agrees. Another happy ending and the main reason I help the PWCCSC as a rescue volunteer.
