Good morning,
I have no experience with any of this but am considering doing agility classes with Rudy.
He is just 6 months old, does it make any difference how young they are? What all is involved?
Thanks~

Beth,
I have a Rudy too! 6 months is a little early to start them on agility equipment, but there are lots of things you can do that will give you a head start in agility. Dogs really need to have a good stay, sit, down and come commands in agility. There are some good foundation classes geared toward agility for young dogs, I started my Rudy when he was about 9 mos old. I can recommend some trainers for you, what area are you in?

Hi Laurie,
Thanks for the info. We are in a dog obedience class right now and he is doing ok with sit and down, come is getting better but stay is a tough one right now. We are going to the Positive Dog Training which is out by Cottage Lake. After this initial course I intend to go to the next advanced class.
