This is our regulary scheduled meet-up at Marymoor.

If you haven't joined us yet, this is the perfect time to meet the group and romp with other corgi owners.

If you are new to the area, you've got to visit the fabulous Marymoor Park and experience the fun of walking around in a pack of corgis. It's great socialization for dogs and people.

Please contact any of the organizers if you have questions.

The annual Pawswalk will be held September 8. If any of you have attended this walk before and would like to go again this year, please let me know. Magnuson is one of our frequent outings and would be a fun venue. If several people are interested in participating, I will create a group fundraising tagline that we can make our reservations with.

Here is the link if you want to check it out!

For all who attended last year, this was a fun way to meet other area corgis and their people, play toss the hotdog, and practice on the agility equipment. I even remember some sweet little puppies rolling around. The only downside with this event was all the dogs had to be on leash. Which made for a lot of tangled up leashes! I estimate that about 40 plus dogs were in attendance. If your dog is ready, you can get her/his Good Citizen Obedience Certification for $5.

This event is the same day as the PawsWalk at Magnuson, so if you like to double your your corgi fun for one day, come meet us at both places!

This is an event sponsored by the Cascade Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club.

Pack up your dogs, kites and camping gear and join us August 3 - 5 at Grayland Beach for a weekend at the Washington coast! Grayland is about 15 miles south of Westport and has quiet, uncrowded stretches of beach perfect for dogs, kite fliers and beach combers.

Feel free to come for Friday night, Saturday night, or both. If you don't want to camp, but would like to come down and play on the beach on Saturday, that's great too.

We're staying at a small campground just a short walk through the dunes to the beach. It has sites with full hookups for those with RVs, and a well-treed area with good privacy for those who have tents or small self-contained campers.

Since different types of camping equipment (RVs, campers, tents, etc) require different types of sites, we ask that you contact the campground to make your own reservations, based on your needs. When you call, tell them you are with the Corgi Meetup Group. Make your reservations as soon as possible. According to the owners, there are plenty of sites available at this point, but campgrounds on the coast fill up quickly during the summer months.

We'll meet at the Mukilteo Ferry landing, in the parking lot near the lighthouse at 10:00 am. If you haven't been to Mukilteo before, just head straight down Mukilteo Blvd and take a hard left right before you drive onto the ferry. Those who would like to can carpool across on the ferry.

Pack a lunch for yourself and your dog(s) and we'll picnic on the beach.

Other things to bring: Ferry fare, Shoes that you don't mind getting wet, towels, binocs for waterfowl, camera, water for your dog.

There are two nice farmers markets on the way to the beach so if you like that sort of thing, you might want to plan on stopping before or after the beach.

Low tide is at 11:15 so we'll have a nice wide beach to play on.

If you'd prefer to meet us at the beach let me know so we can find you, and if you need directions to the beach, I can provide those too.
