It's time to make reservations for our third annual Grayland Beach Corgi Camp Out! As some of you know, the original plan was to get reservations for July 24 - 26, 2009 but to my surprise and dismay this morning, the park is all booked up, so I had to go with an earlier date: June 12 - 14, 2009.

If you haven't been camping with us at Grayland Beach State Park, it's definitely worth the long range planning. It's one of the nicest State Parks in Washington, with miles of beach for the dogs to play on just steps from your campsite….that's why we have to reserve really early to get the very best sites.

Our goal this year is to get everyone on the same "circle" if possible - that'll be sites 64 - 69 and if those fill up, sites 70 - 75 in the "right beach" area on the campground map are still really close. If you are bringing an RV, camper, or anything other than a tent, you'll need to reserve your own site, but if you are camping in a tent, you can share a site with someone who has reserved an RV site. If you want to do that, just make it clear in your RSVP that you've got a tent and want to share a site and we'll match you up.

We'll provide lots more detail as we get closer to the big date, but for now, if you think you want to join us, make your reservation immediately, while there are still sites available! Here's the website for on-line reservations: http://www.camis.com/...

Hey everyone, where are your photos? Upload them to the album. It's much easier and improved. Thanks!

Awesome. I'd love to go but these day's I'm not sure whats happening next month, not to mention next summer! I don't want to reserve my own spot for no reason!

We'll match you up with someone. There will be several with RV sites that you can pitch your tent on and we'll work that all out as we get closer to the big day.

Does anyone want to share with Oskar and me? I would have a tent. Haven't reserved anything yet, maybe someone with an RV I can set my tent up with?

    •  Midge and I had a great weekend. It was fun to camp with many of you again and to meet some great new camping friends too!
    •  I had so much fun getting to know everyone and breaking Arlo in on his very first camping trip! It was great going for the walks on the beach and seeing all the dogs romp in the surf & sand. I even learned 2 new skills: making omelets in a bag & the joys of a pie iron. Arlo also learned 2 new skills: lounging in camp chairs & smuggling sand home in the car. Can't wait to see everyone again at the next meetup!
    •  Id like to rate this as a 1 star cuz it just never lasts long enuf! It was great as always and the more the merrier!~

I had the best time ever. Missed out doing the group picture, but loved the whole event. The people are the greatest. I look for to next year and will come a whole day earlier to make my visit longer. My dogs had a great time.
    •  Grayland Beach is simply one of the best parks anywhere for the size of the sites and proximity to the beach. (important when your dog heads back to the RV from the beach without you!).Sure glad Jane S. camped there before and organizes this each year, we'd have never known about the place.Management was good and they even refunded our prepaid 2 extra days when we had to go home Sunday instead of Tues. Loved meeting some new campers in the group and there dogs. Looking forward to the next campout where I hope not to (1) get dragged on the ground, (2) be bitten by mistake, (3) lose control of Fiona on the beach, (4) lose 3 games of tile rummy to tracey.
    •  Great!!!!! Love the campsite, great being so close to the beach. The dinners and breakfasts were awesome, always wish I had more time to plan ahead and bring more myself.
    •  Thanks for the fun meet up! I hope everyone got to play on the beach and enjoy relaxing away from home.
